The mysterious "Blitz Materia" as Zangan called it, was found along side Sabin on Mt. Nibel. It is made of an odd metallic blue color and is of an unknown origin. After studying it for almost a year, Bugenhagen discovered that it channels the energy inside of Sabin and manifests itself however he wishes. Bugenhagen also discovered that the energy it channels is spirit energy (mako), but for Sabin's well being, he did not tell him. In the following years, Bugenhagen began to train Sabin to use his powers. He first began by placing it in his claws, but has recently moved it to his armlets and found it much more efficient. Now that he has learned more about his past, and the materia, Sabin can un-lock more of it's potential. The blitz materia can be utilized to Sabin's will, only limited by how he wishes to channel his inner energy. When he wishes to use it, he merely has to focus and concentrate on channeling his energy through it. Sabin's favorite blitzes are either these or certain variations of them:

Pummel- with little concentration, the materia channels his energy into speed and Sabin moves swiftly, striking an opponent with a quick series of attacks.

Aura Bolt- with a moderate amount of effort, Sabin channels his energy into a giant bolt of pure energy from his hands

Suplex- channeling his energy into his strenght, he can slam an enemy into the ground with tremendous force

Fire Dance- with mere seconds of meditation, Sabin can unleash blazing clones of himself in all directions that follow his will

Mantra- transfering his energy without himself, he can heal anyone in close proximity

Wind Blade- manipulating his power into a blade of force and energy which he flys from his claws, this easily slices through most things

Spiraler- transfering a great deal of his energy into the close area, Sabin severely drains himself but rejuvinates anyone he wishes

Bum Rush- transforming an ungodly amount of his energy into pure chaos and adrenaline, Sabin effectively steps out of time as he moves hours within one instant. Striking a battle's worth of attacks in mere seconds, this attack would surely rend any but the strongest warrior to shreds.

Mako Crater- aptly named after what would remain, this is where the entirety of Sabin's energy is forced through the materia, creating a gigantic explosion of pure mako.

Weaknesses: He can't rely completely on his blitz abilities, for they have been known to make him fall unconscious because they drain him of his energy. The All materia that Sabin connected to the blitz materia only seems to work on some of it's abilities. He is thought upon poorly by most city and village people because of his grungy appearence.

Physical Appearance: A 6' standing mass of muscle with short, dirty blonde hair that sticks up in the front and is tied in a small rat tail at the back. He has greenish, blue eyes. His usual attire is a tight blue tank top with white baggy pants, a green sash, brown shoes, and weird blue metal armlets (Materia slots: one armlet has a single slot, the other has a double slot)

Weapon: He carries an extravagant set of claws made of a strong, black metal. They were given to him by Zangan when he was but a child, and he has trained with them since then. They stretch more then one foot from the straps that hold them on. (Materia slots: each claw has one double slot on it), he is especially skilled in using them but knows how to wield most types of weapons.

History: Born and raised in a small house outside Nibbleheim, Sabin trained as a young fighter with his brother, until one day his brother went to protest at the mako reactor on Mt. Nibel. Once news got to Sabin of his brother's death, Sabin attacked the guards to the reactor in a fury of anger. He managed to be successful in the beginning but was ultimately captured. At the hands of Hojo he was infused with dangerously large amounts of mako, but was rescued by a young SOLDIER by the name of Cypher. Later on he was found outside the mako reactor on Mt. Nibel by Zangan, he was then raised by Zangan and taught martial arts through out his youth. Zangan also found the blitz materia along side sabin of which he knew nothing about, so he told Sabin to seek someone who could tell him more about it. This quest took him to Cosmo Canyon after he had heard about Bugenhagen. Bugenhagen discovered that the blitz materia actually channeled the energy inside of Sabin, which he found to be mako energy, but he never told Sabin this. Sabin spent the following years at Cosmo Canyon learning to utilize the blitz materia from Bugenhagen . Later on in his travels with Cypher, he came upon the library in the Nibblehiem mansion. There he read of his past and learned many of the secrets to his Blitz materia. And yet later on, at the outskirts of Nibblehiem where he was summoned by the turk Cypher, his near entire past was revealed to him.

Additional Info: He always carries his claws and his backpack, which is litered with assorted things. He always has an assortment of greens, beef jerky, and his trusty climbing equipment and rope with him, along with a recent picture of Kaliden.

Stereotypes:

-ShinRa: He dispises ShinRa because they are slowly killing the Planet with their reactors. They have hurt his friends and himself. They are also Hojo's employers and help to further his harmful reach.

-SOLDIER: He admires the quality of fighters they train, yet has a divine hatred of them for aiding Shinra.

-Avalanche: Sabin likes Avalanche because of their efforts to save the planet and to destroy Shinra.

-Cypher : Cypher is a good friend to Sabin, they have helped each other a lot. Their pasts are greatly intertwinned, yet despite his death, he still roams the earth not only a turk, but at Hojo's mercy.

-Hojo: Hojo is a slimy little piece of sh*t who ruins everyone's lives that he comes into contact with. After questioning Hojo about why he does these things, Sabin plans to rip the bastard to shreds.

-Spector : Another good student of Zangan, Sabin values his friendship more then other's. And now Sabin has taken him under his wing for a period of time. Indeed he has a lot to learn, but he is a good fighter and a true friend.

-Kaliden: The lovely woman known as Kaliden, Sabin's first love. Always there for him, and he's always there for her.
